The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guyana held its Annual Convention in Georgetown May 2-4, 2010. One Deacon, Sugrim Joseph Gobin, was ordained as a pastor and 17 persons were commissioned as deacons or deaconnesses to serve the parishes of the ELCG. The Guyana Mission Network (GMN) is a program of St. Paul-Reformation Lutheran Church, 100 Oxford St. North, St. Paul, Minnesota. GMN provides financial support for pastors and other church workers and seminarians and projects of congregations and the wider church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Guyana. We invite persons to make contributions to the Guyana Mission Network. Contributions are tax deductible.
